Chaos and Miracles from Albert Einstein

As a famous scientist, Albert Einstein, knew a thing or two and spent his lifetime trying to understand the workings of the world. He explored science,
physics, astronomy and spirituality and left school at an early age because he didn’t fit into the student mould as set out by his teachers.

The basic laws of the universe are simple, but because our senses are limited, we can’t grasp them. There is a pattern in creation.

There is an order to the chaos. We only see the trees but there is more to a tree including its roots and oxygen it generates. Flowers a beautiful
and smell sweet and they are there for the bees to pollinate other plants.

Out of clutter, find simplicity, from discord, find harmony. In the middle of difficulty lies opportunities.

Many times Einstein would make a quote that’s related to his work, but it has the direct ability to be applied to other areas of life.

No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.

Try something new. Look at a situation from a different angle. Walk away and sleep on the solution instead of simply doing the same thing expecting
a different result.

A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.

This final quote is one of my favourites as I am constantly learning, reading and trying to figure out what my life purpose is and how I can be of
service. I see little miracle everyday.

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

Testing your sign – Is it real

I have had a blue butterfly as a sign for a decade now and truly love it. I smile when I see one and am filled with love and gratitude. It took me a couple
of years to figure out how to use it and what it means, and now that I have, it inspired me to write two books about signs – the Road to Resilience and free to be me.

Your sign is a reminder to tap your feelings and emotions. Your thoughts are in your head, your emotions are in your heart. It is a ‘one second technique’
to break the random chaos of your thoughts drastically changing the outcome. See my blog about the Chaos Theory which explains this further.

I am human too, like the rest of us, and I have the same thoughts of self doubt and sabotage. I acknowledge the good and the bad, I feel sadness and happiness.
But I don’t dwell on the negative, I am resilient enough to look at for solution not to dwell on the problems themselves.

Two months before I launched my second book free to be me I was pumped and inspired. The book was almost ready for printing,
I had hired a business coach and had vision and clarity around my message ‘Find your Calm. Conquer your Chaos.’ The content was ready for my website
and despite all the best intentions I ran into roadblocks that were totally out of my control. I didn’t want to delay launching and slow my momentum
and yet that is exactly what happened.

I had to take my own advice and go with the flow, I had to let go of the oars and stop rowing effortlessly upstream. My husband had been noticing for awhile
that I was spiraling into a manic state. When friends asked how the book was going my reply was “its finished but I am soooo over it”. Well needless
to say that is a terrible way to create enthusiasm and sell it when even my heart was not in it.

I had spent two years dreaming and drafting the book. Then the last six months writing and editing it. I was exhausted and running on fumes. I was afraid
that if I stopped I would loose the interest to publish the book. Yet in my heart I knew that the delays were there to make me stop, relax, take a
holiday, remove myself from pushing myself too hard.

The only control I had over the delays was my own thinking around the problems. Were they problems or just temporary setbacks designed to make me have
a break? Once I had figured this out, the enthusiasm returned, my energy increased but only after I looked after myself. Self care isn’t selfish but
a necessity. I surrounded myself with positive people, caught up on sleep, meditated and spent time with family.

Half of me felt ready to take my message to the world and yet the other half of me was scared and fear was eroded my self confidence. So I set the universe
a bigger challenge. Asking the universe for a different sign as a blue butterfly was too easy.

I designed the Calm Quiz as a fun and interactive way to find your sign and see how calm you are. I worked out a rainbow of signs
and put them to the test.

Sure enough my awareness increased, my clouded vision cleared, my feeling of being overwhelmed turned back into enthusiasm. I had to change my focus from
creating to sharing. Instead of creating my book, it was time to share my message.

Everyday one of these colourful signs appeared and confirmed my desires. I was on track. I could do this. I had control.

My second sign has always been a rainbow as it reminds me that anything is possible, when the conditions are right magic happens, a miracle occurs when
you you look for it, you need sun (positive) and rain (negative) for the beauty to shine. So I was not going to ask the universe for a rainbow as this
was also to obvious for me.

Butterflies or feathers appear when loved ones are near. Just after my dad passed I was surrounded by orange Monarch butterflies so when I see one now
I think of him. Feathers are also a common sign especially when they drop out of the sky, or appear in strange places like indoors. So if you believe
these are your loved ones then you also believe in the mystery of the unknown. How do you feel when you think of your loved one? I have turned my sadness
for my dad into gratitude for everything he did for me, so now I can smile when I see a Monarch butterfly and think fondly of him.

I tested the universe and asked for pure white feathers as a sign that I was on track for free to be me and sure enough
as confirmation I received endless white feathers. So many in fact that I set the challenge even harder as a test to the universe. I would see one
feather and then ask to be shown seven within the next half an hour and sure enough they appeared. Seven, one for each chakra. I see white feathers
daily now and my smile is now a laugh as I focus on my desires.

Supercharge Your Desires

The law of attraction is just one piece of the puzzle to actually getting your desires. It is a very important piece and yet the law works when all the
other pieces are in place.

Let me explain this further ….

A rainbow doesn’t appear until the conditions are just right. Just enough light, moisture and they magically you can see them. Wikipedia states: A rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. It takes the form of a multicoloured arc. Rainbows caused by sunlight always appear in the section of sky directly opposite the sun.

A caterpillar in a cocoon won’t turn into a butterfly unless the humidity and temperature are just right for that species.

We can send people to the moon with the right equipment and technology, but when even the tiniest piece of rubber is not sized right then we have seen
devastating outcomes. Everything must be correct and procedures followed in just the right order.

So if everything has to be perfect, then I have to be in control, and yet I can’t control or predict what happens around me. So then I got stressed and
worried …. But there is an easier way when you understand even just some of the laws.

The movie the Secret was based on the law of attraction and the exciting news is that there are more laws, which when pieced together make our dreams come
true. Bob Proctor, who appeared in the movie, states that the law of vibration is actually the first law before the law of attraction.

The law of vibration states that everything moves, nothing remains the same, it is all energy. ‘An ocean of motion.’ It is a vibration and everything is
made up of molecules. When this is understand you are able to tap into the right energy you want.

So now I have to accept that change is inevitable and happening around me all the time. Therefore I appear to have no control over anything!

Another piece of this puzzle is how you feel. Your emotions are a vibration. When you feel fear, doubtful, worry and stress you are creating negative energy
around you and in what you are projecting. When you feel even the slightest glimmer of hope you create a one second break in the seemingly random chaos
around you. Of course the better your feel and the more positive your thoughts the more powerful the vibration is and therefore more positive.

Fear is a very negative vibration and the more energy you spend on your negative thoughts the more negative situations and people you will attract.

Everything will come to you the more you get in harmony with what you want and not what you don’t want. Acknowledge that change is constant and control
is an illusion.

So you just can’t feel negative and miserable and yet expect positive happy events to happen. That is why when you wish for your dreams to come true and
yet don’t believe they are possible then guess what, they won’t appear.

I prefer the vibration of nature and enjoy spending time swimming, walking, biking and going to the beach. I hate the vibrations of shopping centres and
feel drained and exhausted by the time I leave. I know what feelings I want more of and seek those good feelings whenever I can. I can’t avoid shopping
as we all need food and clothing but I limit the time I spend shopping.

When I started learning these laws I got thoroughly confused. How could I remain in the present moment and yet set desires for the future? Guru’s say that
we should write 10 things we are grateful for daily, 10 things you appreciate and 10 things you desire but this takes time and only works if your intentions
are clear and in tune. Don’t dwell in the past and yet learn for it, well how can you learn from it if you don’t analyse it?

Yet the more I studied, read and learnt how all the pieces are necessary I also learnt that a one second change in my vibration, a few times a day, drastically
affected how I felt.

How you feel, and definitely not what you ‘think’, is another key piece and the underlying link to all the laws. So when you feel even the slightest glimmer
of hope and happiness you are creating an awesome vibration.

I need daily reminders to check in on my feelings, which is why I love my blue butterfly sign. I am a visual, not audio type personality so when I can
‘see’ my sign it creates a break in the endless cycle of thoughts, this space allows me to unfocus and connect with nature, therefore an awesome vibration.

In every situation there is a space between the situation and how you respond to it. In that space you decide how you react or how you respond. So I had
to learn that in the present moment ,one small second of space, does changes what appears to be chaos in a system so complex that it appears to be
random. In other words nothing is random, even it if appears to be, and one small change, repeated daily affects how I feel and how my day goes.

Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is the power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.

When I see my sign I stop, breathe and smile. This creates the space needed to break the chaos and gives your brain the calm it needs before it responds
therefore changing the vibration to positive. The energy and vibration around you affects you. You will attract to you whatever is in harmonious relationship
to you. You are in control of the vibration and if you are like me, I like control and order so if all I have to do is smile and feel good then that
is what I want so that I attract what I desire.

Schools back – Reduce anxiety by over 60%

Anxiety is a buzz word that I hear bantered around very often. I don’t remember hearing it while I was growing up and yet kids are being told daily that
they have anxiety. We are so keen to ‘label’ what we ‘think’
is happening and yet we are not so keen to delve into the emotions and what this actually mean.  

Anxiety is a feeling of fear, worry, dread and panic and Hippocrates wrote about it all those years ago. Nowadays more and more people are experiencing
these feelings including our kids. It is more common for people to feel overwhelmed and suffer panic attacks.

Feeling nervous is part of life and we all experience it. Being nervous or having butterflies in your tummy is a healthy response to a new situation, such
as a new school, a new job, sitting a test, an interview, and it makes you feel uncomfortable. You don’t know what to expect and the event is unfamiliar
to you.

Anxiety is a severe case of nervousness
with more physical signs like a heavy chest, heart racing and sweating. It doesn’t just go away but lingers and becomes overwhelming. Anxiety is worrying
about the future, future events and the unknown. Being nervous is normal and recognising that a situation could be harmful. Anxiety is your entire
body’s response to your brain automatically assuming that you are in grave danger.

Gut instinct is the fear and ‘fight or flight’ instinct we have from our ancestors when we were being chased by animals or needed to hunt for pray.

We are so much more than our physical appearance and thoughts. Only when we connect with ourselves we can then listen to our gut. We have a fight or flight
mechanism built into us. Our adrenaline kicks in and how we feel is what we should listen to and not the endless self-doubt stories that our mind tries
to tell us.

Negative thinking is fear based, chronic negative thinking creates stress that can damage your body and mind. To safeguard you from fear, anxiety and worry
the body defends itself with depression. You are depressed because you chronically over think. Depression makes you numb to emotions like fear and
also love, joy and happiness. It is a survival instinct and protects you from fight or flight. It is a survival instinct to protect ourselves from
perceived danger. Depression is not to be blamed for negative thoughts, negative thinking is the cause and depression is the effect.

So are these kids in this generation anxious or just nervous? As parents are we labeling and pushing our fears onto our kids. Can a few nervous escalate
into our own anxiety being pushed onto our kids?

I remember my eldest being nervous about starting high school. The school was huge compared to her primary school, it was unfamiliar, a new set of rules,
new teacher, new friends to make etc. This didn’t mean she had anxiety, it meant that she was unsure, afraid and nervous. At the end of her first day
you could see the weight lifted off her shoulders and the unfamiliar became familiar. The scary world out there was not that bad, she not only survived
but thrived. The normal feeling passed and she became comfortable again. She could focus on her next adventure with pride as she was stronger for facing
it head on.

In 2017 we have more choices than ever before. More access to information and this doesn’t help us but actually hinders us. Even the simplest option to
buy a product causes us analysis paralysis as we research where to buy it and compare the cost. Social media is anything but helpful when most young
people compare themselves to others. FOMO, fear of missing out causes us to look at our friends posts and compare yourself to unrealistic expectations.
People post happy, look at me, see what I am up to, shots which don’t tell the full story.

There are ways of reducing anxiety from prescriptions, cognitive behavioral therapy, meditation, yoga and music.

Where Do I Start

Where do I start? ….

Where to start on my first blog for this year, got me thinking, about how many projects and resolutions we plan at the beginning of the year. We usually
are very enthusiastic and optimistic, with the best intentions, and yet, life gets busy and the plans drop down the priority list.

I am the same as you. I planned to write the blog days ago and yet kept putting it off and it dropped down my priority list. I can make all the excuses
that I like, but at the end of the day I just didn’t get started.

So here I am confessing to you that despite my and good intentions I’m human and I just didn’t start.

And this is the point of the blog, your heart can be in something, you can have the best intentions, but what you really need to do is start, that’s right
just start. Get the wheels in motion.

The reason for my delay is that this is the first blog on my brand new website and I am excited and yet nervous. It seems overwhelming what I still need
to do, and how much more there is to complete, but as each day passes I tick more tasks on my to do list and the list is shrinking.

This is my first lesson for you to learn, obstacles start dissolving. The feeling of being stuck, trapped and not in flow literally dissolve away the moment
I started. Instead of having problems, the solutions are appearing because I am taking action. You start to attract the things you need, like the motivation,
like the energy, like the passion and it starts to flow when you are in flow.

The second lesson is that fear starts to fade into faith. You pinch yourself off from your potential when you focus on the fear. Fear is paralyzing and
not very helpful unless you use it to assess how important the goal is for you to start. So I just started typing and before I know it the blog was
done, I had nothing to fear, I was just making excuses. The faith showed up and that was a more powerful feeling than fear, so I ran with it.

I decided I had control and took responsibilities for my actions. I scheduled my time and when I had a spare, childless hour, I wrote. No distractions,
chanting music on, and made this a priority. By taking this control I reduced my fear that the next blog will flow when I am ready. I started and will
keep making this commitment to you to show up, write and be creative.

I am calmer because I don’t need to worrying about writing this blog. That thought has now disappeared and I can
focus on another task. Your emotions are there to wake you up, listen to the feelings and take action.

Energy creates energy, now this task is done I have more energy because I ticked this off my to-do-list. As you can probably tell, I like order and organisation
and when I feel accomplished I sleep better at night and my days run smoother. The funniest thing is that I spent more energy ‘thinking’ I had to write
this than the it actually took to do it.

My mission for you is to start something this week that you have been putting off and see where it takes you. As this year is just beginning, feel the
new energy use it for faith not fear. The chaos will start to dissolve into calm.
